EHLSA - One Water – sustainable local system transition for global application
Projekt time: 241115 - 250425
Water Wise Societies is part of Impact Innovation, a national initiative by Vinnova,
Formas, and the Swedish Energy Agency.
The program is led by RISE in collaboration with IVL Swedish Environmental
Research Institute, Linköping Science Park, Lund University, Stockholm Environment
Institute, and Svenskt Vatten.
As part of the Water Wise Societies program, 20 projects are now being launched,
all aimed at achieving the vision of sustainable water for all by 2050. The projects
funded under the call “Collaboration for Sustainable Water for All” span a wide
range of themes.
One Water – sustainable local system transition for global application
Swedish: Ett Vatten – hållbar lokal systemomställning för global applikation (EHLSA)
About the project:
This project will analyze the complex challenges within the water and wastewater
sector to support the transition towards Water Wise Societies, focusing on
innovation ecosystems, system demonstrators, and behavioral change. This involves
identifying market actors and potential solutions to develop and scale up system
demonstrators. Additionally, we will gather knowledge and examples of
technologies and research applicable to urban testbeds, with a particular emphasis
on the Östra Ramlösa district in Helsingborg.
WIN’s Role:
WIN Water will act as the deputy project manager, represented by Ola Hansson,
and will lead Work Package 2 as outlined below.
WP2: Mapping actors and developing catalyst networks
We will identify and map key stakeholders essential for driving the system transition
and build a robust innovation ecosystem. Their roles will be analyzed to understand
how they can best support the development of sustainable solutions. Throughout
the process, we will also work to attract additional public and private actors, as well
as governmental authorities, to participate in the continued efforts.
